A highly caustic detergent powder designed for use in cold circulation cleaning.Leaves milking machines, pipelines and jars sparkling clean and bright.Suitable for use in hard or soft water areas.No heating of water required. Mixes easily, is non-foaming and rinses freely. Easy to use.
AFTER MILKING:
Thoroughly rinse the outside of the clusters before putting on the jetters. Pre-rinse the
pipeline with about 9 litres of clean cold water per milking unit and run to waste.
Add 226 g of Coldwash to each 45 litres of cold water to make up the wash solution, allowing
9 litres per milking unit.
Draw this solution into the plant, allowing about 7 litres to run to waste before circulating the
remaining solution for 10 minutes.
Recover this solution into the wash trough and retain for the next wash.
Leave the clusters attached to the jetters. Do not rinse at this stage.
BEFORE NEXT MILKING:
Rinse the plant thoroughly with clean water using about 9 litres per milking unit.
SECOND WASH:
Pre-rinse the plant as above. Draw the solution retained from previous wash into plant
allowing 7 litres to run to waste before circulating the remaining solution for 10 minutes.
Discharge this solution to waste. Leave the clusters attached to the jetters. Do not rinse at
this stage. Rinse thoroughly immediately before the next milking as above.
HOT WASH ROUTINE:
Before embarking on the above programme and once per month thereafter, a hot wash
process is recommended. Add 226 g of Coldwash and 0.5 litres of Evans Hypochlorite to each
45 litres of hot (800C, 1750F) water, allowing 9 litres per milking unit.
Discharge the first 7 litres to waste before circulating the remainder for 10 minutes. During
this circulation period, switch off the milk pump for a short time to allow the auxiliary sanitary
trap to fill partially with cleaning solution. Discharge the solution to waste then rinse
thoroughly with clean cold water allowing 9 litres per milking unit.
